Based on a b&W thumbnail sketch I did back in 2011 for Environment Design I with James Paick. I believe these setting could exist in the same world as Deep Shadows posted last year.

The Ninth Gate Film Studies

Here are 6 more film studies I did, this time for "The Ninth Gate", another one of my favorite movies. It's a great exercise to get the colors right (no eyedropper) and to get the overall shapes/masses with
few brushstrokes. I'm posting the original screenshots, too, this time. I'll definitely be doing this more often as it's great practice.
