Homage To Sintra

This is my homage to beautiful Sintra. I don't know if my love for fantasy came before or after I visited this place during my youth but I'm sure it grew with it over all these years I've been visiting it. If you ever come to Lisbon be sure to check it out!

I tried to steer away from my usual misty, monochromatic moods and go for a more bright and colorful setting. IT was a challenge for me which I hope paid off.

This painting is based on a sketch made for Aaron Limonick's online CGMA course "Environment Design I" and inspired by the Sintra forests and the many "chalets" spread throughout the area.
