Winter Sanctuary

I started this one several weeks ago and then I let it rest for a while. Sometimes it can be frustrating coming back to a painting and realizing the crap I was creating. That is what happened to me today when I went back to this painting. So, I made some overall changes and just had to call it finished...no use lingering on this one anymore.

Finished the undead army one...and here is a new one.

Here are two finished paintings (I think) and a new one I am working on, very much inspired by the beautiful paintings of Jeff Easley.

I changed the previous forest into something quite different.

I think it's finished...for now, at least.

Update...it's nearing the point where there is probably not much to do to improve it. But it's been great practice...I'll probably still do a final update tomorrow.

Another update...adding color sometimes seems to take the interest off...
